The leading group and office for promoting accessible environment construction of the CDPF aim to integrate the resources of all parties, form a joint force of work, and cooperate with relevant departments to promote the accessibility development, prompt the revision of relevant laws and regulations, planning, policies, and standards, and create the accessible environment in cities, counties, villages and towns. They are also responsible for gaining publicity, and promoting training and research of accessible environment construction; carrying out the work of accessible home remodeling for poverty-stricken people and families; providing intellectual support andconsultation on accessibility for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games; and guiding local governments to promote accessible environment construction.
